The World Championship Snowmobile Watercross
The World Championship Snowmobile Watercross is a snowmobile skipping the event. The racers have to race their snowmobiles across the lake to the finish line. It takes place every year in Grantsburg with Memory Lake Park as the venue. Racers from Canada and USA take part in the race each vying to get their hands on the championship. The race is held in July over the whole weekend and attracts thousands of spectators. A street dance and spectacular fireworks provide a sight to behold at this snowmobile game.
Iron Dog
Iron Dog is the longest and harshest event in the world of snowmobile games. It is a cross-country snowmobile race that requires the entrant teams to race across 2,031 miles. Every team has two drivers and two snowmobiles that take part in the race. The race takes place in February and is held in Alaska. The race route begins at Big Lake and finishes in Fairbanks. The racers travel through the remote regions of Alaska, facing extremely cold winds and subzero temperatures which truly test their endurance and mettle. There are breaks allowed in between the race to ensure riders recuperate.
World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb
Another popular snowmobile games event is The World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb. The Jackson Hole Snow Devils club organizes it. The Snow King Resort in Jackson, Wyoming is the host of the event. The entrants have to ride up a 1500 ft. mountain slope rising vertically. The riders with the best skills prevail while most fail to go even halfway. The championship is a four-day event that takes place in March every year.
